Your New Fire Safety Rules – What Are Your Responsibilities?

War Stories - Traps to avoid with your fire safety inspections and repairs!

Law reforms came into effect in October 2017 which require NSW building owners to select a ‘competent fire safety practitioner’ to undertake all necessary fire safety inspections.  Owners must now certify that the practitioner/s they have engaged are competent before an annual or supplementary fire safety statement can be issued.

  • Discover the legal requirements for the essential fire services in your building.
  • Learn the truth about fire safety equipment maintenance frequencies
    • how often each piece of equipment needs to be inspected, and
    • who is responsible for eg smoke alarm inspections.
