MAX Build specialises in remediation and adaptation of strata schemes, while residents remain in their apartment. iCare HBCF, which regularly audits the company, has approved MAX Build to carry out up to $7 million per residential project. Over nine years, MAX Build has built in-house trades to ensure quality control and an unparalleled communication program that puts people first.
"MAX Build believes in OCN’s tireless work to ensure apartment owners are empowered and protected. Our sponsorship of this event marks the beginning of a long-term partnership, contributing to a better future in residential strata and community living.
Why is OCN important? Running a strata scheme is akin to managing an organisation. The business is preserving an asset, there’s a budget to maintain and grow, governance to comply with, stakeholders with diverse agendas to consider, culture to nourish, and it is carried out by a group of volunteers on the Executive Committee. There are legal responsibilities that come with the role and it is often a thankless task.
The presence of OCN means apartment owners are not alone and have a vast network to tap into for assistance. The opportunity for shared learnings is rich. From advice on service providers or new strata legislation, through to inspiration on community building such as communal dinners and libraries.
Seminars provide further help navigating complex strata issues. The OCN has tools for assisting owners such as by-laws, saving legal costs and potential disputes. And, most importantly, advocates for you with industry and government."
